WASHINGTON, D.C. –Today, Thursday, September 10, 2015, Congressman Marc Veasey, TX-33, reintroduced H.R. 3475, the Grandparents Tax Credit, to lessen the financial burden on grandparents that serve as caregivers to their grandchildren by providing a $500 refundable tax credit. This legislation aims to alleviate the out-of-pocket costs that grandparents take on when they step up to help raise their grandchildren when their parents cannot.
