Without the extension, millions of Americans will see their premiums skyrocket, with some families facing thousands of dollars in monthly healthcare costs. This is because Republicans have not agreed to extend the ACA's Premium Tax Credit. A brief explanation is below:

The Affordable Care Act’s Premium Tax Credit was created under Obamacare, and expanded after COVID under President Biden’s American Rescue Plan Act.
