Veasey to recognize service and sacrifices of 2015 Congressional Veterans Commendation Recipients during his 2015 Veteran Town Hall

Dallas, TX – Join U.S. Representative Marc Veasey (TX-33) as he honors seven local veterans with the Congressional Veteran Commendation (CVC) at a Veterans Town Hall on Tuesday, November 10th from 5-7 PM, at American Legion Post 453 in Dallas.

Recipients of the 2015 CVC award include: Mr. David Babbs (Arlington), Mr. Alcee Chriss (Fort Worth), Mr. Trini Garza (Dallas), Ms. Stephanie Hanson (Dallas), Retired Aviation Warfare Specialist First Class Petty Officer Ronnie Mestas (Dallas), Mr. Robert Ramirez (Grand Prairie) and Mr. Charlie Alonzo Valdez (Fort Worth).

Following the ceremony, veterans, active duty military personnel and their families are encouraged to participate in the Veterans Town Hall to voice their thoughts and opinions regarding veteran issues and learn more about what Congressman Veasey is doing for the DFW Metroplex in Congress.

About the Congressional Veterans Commendation Program (CVC)
The CVC is a nominations-based program designed to recognize the wartime sacrifices and peacetime community involvement of veterans of the Thirty-third Congressional District of Texas. To be eligible, veterans must currently reside in the 33rd Congressional District. Nominees have served as active duty military personnel, active duty in the United States Armed Forces or a reservist called to active duty, and must be retired or honorably discharged from a branch of the United States Armed Forces.
