Washington, D.C. –Rep. Marc Veasey (TX-33) and Rep.Brittany Pettersen (CO-7), along with 103 House Democrats, introduced a resolution today calling on Congress to condemn all forms of political violence and to reject forms of rhetoric that demonizes political opponents regardless of political ideology. The lawmakers’ call to action comes following the alarming increase of violent and fatal political attacks, including the recent assassination of political figure Charlie Kirk.
