(VIDEO) Congressman Veasey Works at Bell Helicopter
Fort Worth, Texas – On Friday, October 30, 2015, Congressman Marc Veasey, TX-33, joined the UAW Local 218 team at Bell Helicopter performing blade repair and gearbox overhaul for the V-22 Osprey.
"Bell Helicopter is committed to its military and commercial customers and investing in the future of rotorcraft. Today, Bell Helicopter employs over 5,000 workers in Tarrant County alone; demonstrating that a U.S. based company can keep good-paying jobs right here in North Texas while expanding its global reach," Congressman Veasey said.
Bell Helicopter employee, Richard Lamothe, teaches Congressman Marc Veasey how to apply adhesive strips to a V-22 blade during his shift with the repair and overhaul team.
