WASHINGTON, DC - Congressman Veasey (TX-33), releases the following statement on the horrific shooting that has left two dead at a Dallas ICE processing center: 

Washington, D.C.— Congressman Veasey has released the following statement regarding the detention of Omar Salazar at Bluebonnet Detention Center: 

“My office has been in contact with Dallas community leaders regarding Omar Salazar’s detention by ICE following a stop by the Lubbock Police Department. We are working with his legal team and ICE to assist however we can. My team and I will continue to actively monitor the situation and provide support to ensure that ICE follows proper law and procedure in a humane and just manner.”

Washington, D.C. – In light of recent troubling reports of inhumane conditions at ICE —including withholding food, water, and medicine, Congressmembers Marc Veasey (TX-33), Jasmine Crockett (TX-30), and Julie Johnson (TX-32) are demanding answers and accountability from Secretary Noem and ICE.

It's an attack on social security. Trump stands for Taxes, Tariffs, and Terminations."
