Washington, D.C. – Today, Congressman Marc Veasey, TX-33, will join House Democrats in a press conference calling for substantive action to protect and restore voting rights ahead of the 50th anniversary of the Voting Rights Act. Immediately following the press conference, Congressman Veasey will be available to discuss the latest developments on the Texas voter photo ID lawsuit.

WASHINGTON, D.C. – On Wednesday, July 15, 2015, Congressman Marc Veasey (TX-33) reintroduced H.R. 3069, the Notario Victim Relief Act, to assist immigrants who have been victims of fraudulent immigration practices. This legislation allows victims of immigration fraud to have unlimited time to refile their immigration related paperwork, permitting them to have an opportunity to reopen their cases and immigrate lawfully.
Dallas/Fort Worth, Texas— U.S. Representative Marc Veasey, TX-33, will hold town hall meetings in the DFW Metroplex on August 11 in Dallas and August 13 in Fort Worth to discuss issues directly affecting residents in their community. Congressman Veasey will update residents on the work that he is doing in Washington, listen to their concerns, and answer questions. This event is FREE and open to the public.
