Arlington, TX – On Friday, April 1, 2016, Congressman Marc Veasey, TX-33, will host his FREE annual Teen Summit and Job Fair from 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM at the Bob Duncan Center located at 2800 S. Center Street in Arlington, Texas.

The annual event will offer students the opportunity to learn about a range of resources to prepare for higher education, apply for military service, or join the workforce after graduating high school.

Dallas, TX – Today, Congressman Marc Veasey, TX-33, traded his suit and tie for a pair of khakis and hard hat to work alongside Time Warner technician, Babafemi Adesina, to assist servicing homes throughout the DFW Metroplex. During his workday, Veasey participated in a shortened training before assisting Adesina with a cable and internet installation in a customer’s home in West Dallas.

Farmer’s Branch, TX – On Monday, March 28, 2016, Congressman Marc Veasey, TX-33, will clock in bright and early to join the Dallas area staff of Time Warner Cable to learn firsthand about the telecommunications industry and assist in cable installation services for DFW Metroplex residents. After participating in an abbreviated training, Veasey will perform warehouse equipment check-ins and assist in two cable and high-speed internet installations for TX-33 residents.

Dallas / Fort Worth, TX – On Friday, February 5, Congressman Veasey hosted Congressmen Eric Swalwell and Ruben Gallego for a day-long listening tour meeting with students and entrepreneurs of all ages to learn about the challenges DFW millennials face in their everyday lives. The Congressmen first met with over 100 Metroplex students, administrators, and professors during a morning town hall at Tarrant County College’s South Campus.
