WASHINGTON, DC – Today, the House of Representatives passed H.R. 2740, a crucial piece of a comprehensive appropriations package that will fund America's defense and military operations for the 2020 Fiscal Year. Today's package includes an amendment introduced by Congressman Veasey that guarantees an additional $9 million dollars to modernize and increase the effectiveness of the United States Army's future helicopter fleet.

Washington, D.C. – Rep.Veasey (TX-33) and Rep. Stauber (MN-08) introduced H.R. 2344, the bipartisan Small Business Payment for Performance Act of 2019, which will remove the financial burdens small businesses face, and shift financial accountability to federal agencies for extra work ordered. H.R. 2344 will also hold federal agencies responsible for the financial burdens incurred from change orders on small construction contracts.

Dallas, TX- On Thursday, April 18th, Congressman Marc Veasey got behind the wheel as an Uber driver in the DFW Metroplex as part of his Marc Means Business initiative. During his 4-hour shift, he enjoyed conversations with North Texas residents, while driving them safely to their destinations. At the end of his shift, he earned a five-star Uber rating.
