Dallas, TX- On National Vietnam War Veterans Day, VA North Texas invites all Vietnam War Veterans in North Texas to come and have their portrait taken. Veterans will also receive Vietnam Service pins in recognition of their service to our nation.
This event will be held by VA North Texas Health Care System in partnership with Dallas-Fort Worth National Cemetery.

Washington, D.C. - Today, Congressman Veasey, founder and co-chair of the Congressional Voting Rights Caucus, introduced the Postage Free Ballot Act. This bill will be a part of H.R.1. It provides funding to the United States Postal Service to cover postage for mail-in ballots in federal and local elections. This will allow voters to mail in their ballots for free.
