Washington, D.C. – Today Rep.Veasey voted to pass the historic Natural Resources Management Act, a bipartisan conservation and public lands package that includes permanent reauthorization of the Land and Water Conservation Fund (LWCF).
Washington, D.C. – Today, House Democrats voted on House Resolution 8 to pass universal background checks. Rep. Veasey, Whip for the Gun Violence Prevention Task Force, supported the measure and issued the following statement:

WASHINGTON, D.C.– Today, U.S. Congressmen Veasey (TX-33), Peters (CA-52), , McKinley (WV-01), Schweikert (AZ-6) and Congresswoman Bustos (IL-17) introduced H.R. 1166, the Utilizing Significant Emissions with Innovative Technologies (USE IT) Act, a bipartisan, bicameral bill that supports the development and demonstration of vital carbon capture and removal technologies.Senators John Barrasso (R-WY) and Sheldon Whitehouse (D-RI) introduced an identical bill in the Senate.
