Dallas, Texas— In honor of National Hispanic Heritage Month, U.S. Congressman Marc Veasey, TX-33, will spend some time working behind-the-scenes at a Latino family-owned restaurant in Dallas.

As part of his Marc Means Business initiative, Rep. Veasey will visit Oak Cliff's Los Torres Taqueria, on Tuesday, September 23, where he will work the lunch shift helping with food prep in the restaurant's kitchen and serving customers.

Dallas/Fort Worth, Texas— On Tuesday, August 19, 2014 U.S. Congressman Marc Veasey will spend a few hours at Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport where he will get a taste of how an airline operates on the ground by working as an American Airlines baggage handler as part of his monthly Marc Means Business initiative.

Washington, D.C.—On Monday, August 11, 2014, Congressman Marc Veasey, TX-33, traveled to McAllen, Texas to get a first-hand look at the Customs and Border Patrol (CBP) operations. The McAllen CBP station has been essential in assisting with the influx of children from Central America and is responsible for patrolling 53 miles of the Rio Grande sector.
