Veasey Honors Hometown Heroes during Veterans Town Hall
Recognizes the service and sacrifice of 2014 Congressional Veterans Commendation Recipients, Hosts Town Hall focused on military veterans
Fort Worth, TX-- Join U.S. Representative Marc Veasey (TX-33) as he honors five local veterans with the Congressional Veteran Commendation (CVC) at a Veterans Town Hall tonight, November 10th from 5-7 PM,
at American Legion Post 838 in Fort Worth.
Recipients of the CVC award include: Mr. Felix Lozada, Sr., West Dallas; Mr. Mario Gutierrez, Dallas; Mr. Ernest Mackey, Fort Worth; Ms. Yolonde Rocio, Forest Hill; and Mr. Arthur Wilder, Fort Worth.
Following the ceremony, veterans, active duty military personnel and their families are encouraged to participate in the Veterans Town Hall to talk with Congressman Veasey, ask questions, and share their thoughts and concerns about how Congress can best represent America's veterans.

Congressional Veterans Commendation Program (CVC)
The CVC is a nominations-based program designed to recognize the wartime sacrifices and peacetime community involvement of veterans of the Thirty-third Congressional District of Texas. To be eligible, veterans must currently reside in the 33rd Congressional District. Nominees have served as active duty military personnel, active duty in the United States Armed Forces or a reservist called to active duty, and must be retired or honorably discharged from a branch of the United States Armed Forces.
