Fort Worth, TX – On Wednesday, August 23, 2017, Congressman Marc Veasey will lend a hand to local family owned A&T Landscaping LLC, as they provide commercial clients in the DFW Metroplex with landscaping services. Veasey will learn firsthand about the day-to-day responsibilities of operating a landscaping company as he assists with a variety of lawn care services, including trimming shrubs, mowing, fertilizing, seeding, and performing duties as assigned.

WASHINGTON, D.C. –Today, Congressman Marc Veasey, TX-33, introduced legislation to prevent students nationwide from missing crucial federal and state grant opportunities that support their higher education aspirations. H.R. 3516, the Reduce Barriers to College Act, will streamline the burdensome Federal Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) verification process for students who must prove that their families did not file federal taxes.
