WASHINGTON – Congressman Marc Veasey (TX-33) and his colleagues on the House Armed Services Committee successfully moved H.R. 8070, the Servicemember Quality of Life Investment Act and National Defense Authorization Act for Fiscal Year 2025, out of committee this week. This year’s NDAA prioritizes and invests significantly in improving the quality of life for service members.

WASHINGTON — Representative Marc Veasey (TX-33) joined more than 100 of his colleagues in a letter to U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) Director Ur M. Jaddou, to raise concern over delays in processing renewal applications for Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) recipients, and call for the agency to begin providing automatic extensions for lawful recipients in the interim.
