Washington, DC – Today, Congressman Marc Veasey (D-TX) and Congressman Carlos Curbelo (R-FL), introduced bipartisan legislation to help in our nation's fight against climate change by making carbon capture technology more attainable. The Carbon Capture Improvement Act, the House bill that complements U.S. Senators Michael Bennet (D-CO) and Rob Portman's (R-OH) legislation, would help power plants and industrial facilities finance the purchase and installation of carbon capture and storage equipment.

Dallas, TX – On Friday, March 24, 2017, Congressman Marc Veasey, TX-33, will visit Rudolph Foods Company, where he will make their world-famous pork rinds as part of his March ‘Marc Means Business' work day. During his shift, Veasey will work on the production line and attempt to box more than 60 bags of pork rinds in just one minute, work in the quality assurance lab, and work in the staging area to prepare Rudolph Foods products for nationwide distribution.
