WASHINGTON– A few notable Texans will be scattered among the political elite at President Barack Obama’s final State of the Union Address Tuesday.
Washington, D.C. – Today, Congressman Marc Veasey welcomed Gloria Fuentes, owner and founder of Gloria’s Restaurant, to the nation’s capital to join him as his 2016 State of the Union guest.
Boyfriend of Hero In CA Massacre Among Latinos Invited to State of the Union
After his boyfriend Larry "Daniel" Kaufman was shot and killed in last month's attack in San Bernardino, California, Ryan Reyes has urged that the massacre not become a reason to treat Muslims different than others.

Slaughter and Schneiderman urge Supreme Court to uphold Roe v. Wade

Cole.
More than 150 congressional Democrats have asked the Supreme Court to strike down a Texas law that restricts abortion and has closed clinics.
The lawmakers told the court, which is due to hear oral arguments in Whole Woman's Health v. Cole in March, that the law is unconstitutional. If allowed to stand, the law is likely to be copied by other states, they said in a brief released Tuesday.
