Fort Worth, TX – Congressman Marc Veasey (TX-33), along with the Texas Workforce Commission (TWC), will host the 33rd Congressional District Job Fair in Fort Worth on Monday, December 9, 2013 from 8:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. to help local residents find good jobs in the community. This event is part of Rep. Veasey's efforts to create jobs and rebuild the economy. The free job fair will connect dozens of employers with hundreds of job seekers in the Metroplex region and will feature workshops on topics such as networking, and writing resumes.

WASHINGTON, D.C. – Earlier today, Congressman Marc Veasey (TX-33) spoke on a conference call with the community organizations designated to assist residents of the DFW region with the new Federal Insurance Marketplace in the state of Texas. Just a month into the Marketplace enrollment, the call provided an indication of how 265,000 uninsured residents in Texas' 33rd congressional district have been educated and assisted with the healthcare marketplace.
