WASHINGTON, DC – Today, Representative Veasey (TX-33), Member of the Energy and Commerce Committee, introduced the Incentivizing Medicaid Expansion Act to extend Medicaid coverage availability in the fourteen states that have yet to accept Medicaid Expansion under the Affordable Care Act. Currently millions of individuals in those states are left without any healthcare coverage.

Washington, D.C. – Today, Rep. Veasey joined House Democrats to take action to protect Texans' health care by passing a resolution that authorizes Congress to intervene in the Texas v. U.S. lawsuit, which seeks to strike down the entirety of the Affordable Care Act and its life-saving protections, including the more than 11 million Texans with pre-existing conditions.
Washington, D.C.- Rep. Marc Veasey (TX-33), will be sworn into the 116th Congress on Thursday afternoon, January 3rd, by House Speaker Nancy Pelosi. Speaker Pelosi will conduct an individual ceremonial swearing-in ceremony for Rep. Veasey following the en masse oath of office on the Floor of the House of Representatives.
