WASHINGTON, DC– U.S. Congressman Marc Veasey (TX-33) released the following statement regarding the announcement of the first case of Ebola in Dallas, TX:

In light of the first United States case of Ebola confirmed in Dallas, I have faith that Texas Health Presbyterian Hospital is following all Centers for Disease Control (CDC) and Texas Department of Heath recommendations to ensure the safety of its patients, hospital staff, volunteers, physicians and visitors.

As part of his Marc Means Business initiative, Rep. Veasey will visit Oak Cliff's Los Torres Taqueria, on Tuesday, September 23, where he will work the lunch shift helping with food prep in the restaurant's kitchen and serving customers.
