Dallas, TX – On Friday, July 22, 2016, Congressman Marc Veasey, TX-33, will work the breakfast and lunch shifts at a local Dallas McDonald’s restaurant. As part of his ‘Marc Means Business’ work day, Veasey will greet customers, serve as a crew leader motivating employees, distribute prepared meals to drive-thru customers and learn more about the daily responsibilities of fast food workers and managers.

Surrounded by friends and family, Congressman Veasey presented Mr. Marcos Torres with the Purple Heart and additional medals he earned during his service in the United States Army from 1948-1951, and during the Korean War.

Fort Worth, TX – On Thursday, June 30, 2016, Congressman Marc Veasey, TX-33, will join the sanitation crew at Knight Waste Services to collect trash and recycling for Fort Worth area residents. As part of his ‘Marc Means Business’ work day, Veasey will learn how to operate and ride-along in a back loader garbage truck, pick up trash and recycling bins curbside, and learn more about what it takes to work a morning shift under the Texas heat.
