Dallas, TX –Today, Congressman Marc Veasey, TX-33, hosted a mobile town hall to talk and listen to the residents of the DFW Metroplex on what Congress can do to work on their behalf on a host of issues, including jobs and the economy, constituent services, and what legislation can help curb senseless acts of gun violence.

Dallas, Texas- Congressman Veasey discusses the importance of passing legislation to spur economic growth and job opportunities in the district, and how passing the “No Fly No Buy,” bill would prevent individuals on the terrorist watch list from purchasing firearms.

Last week, Congressman Veasey and other Democratic Members of Congress participated in a historic, 26-hour sit-in on the House Floor, demanding a vote to address the epidemic of gun violence in our nation. The National Day of Action on Gun Violence Prevention is being observed in the DFW Metroplex and in communities across the United States to continue to push House Republicans to join House Democrats and pass commonsense gun legislation.
