Washington, D.C.— Congressman Marc Veasey, TX-33, led the Texas Democratic Delegation letter to Centers for Medicaid and Medicare Services' (CMS) Acting Administrator Andrew Slavitt urging the agency to intervene and protect Medicaid beneficiaries' ability to receive care from Planned Parenthood centers in Texas. Recently, Governor Abbott's administration announced their intention to ban Planned Parenthood from participating in the state's Medicaid program.

Dallas, TX – On Monday, December 21, 2015, Congressman Marc Veasey, TX-33, will be prepping a Dallas institution for the busy holiday season during his December ‘Marc Means Business' workday at Dallas Tortilla & Tamale Factory. Veasey will be rolling up his sleeves to help make the Mexican holiday staple by learning to make tamales and tortillas, packing and sealing tamales, tostadas, and chips for distribution, and manning the cash register.
