Washington, D.C. – Today, January 16, 2015, Congressman Marc Veasey, TX-33, announced he will continue to serve as a member on the House Armed Services Committee and the House Science, Space and Technology Committee in the 114th Congress. In addition, Veasey proudly accepts his appointment by U.S House Democratic Minority Whip, Steny Hoyer, MD-5, to serve as an Assistant Whip and Regional Whip.

“Today, I voted in favor of H.R. 3979, the National Defense Authorization for Fiscal Year 2015 (NDAA). This bipartisan bill was created in good faith between both the House and Senate Armed Services Committees and represents our commitment to our military troops, their families, and our national security.
