WASHINGTON, D.C. – Congressman Marc Veasey (TX-33) issued the following statement after a federal appeals court struck a blow Friday against the Trump Administration, ruling that the President acted unlawfully by trying to shift $3.8 billion in previously appropriated Pentagon funds—including $400 million from F-35 and $155 million from V-22 programs–to pay for his much touted border wall:

The AIR Security Act would prohibit federal airport improvement funds from being used to purchase passenger boarding bridges from companies that have violated intellectual property (IP) rights and threaten the national security of the U.S.
