Fort Worth/Dallas, TX –On Friday, November 18, 2016, Congressman Marc Veasey will host his FREE Annual Job Fair from 8:30 AM to noon at Mountain View College Gymnasium located at 4849 W. Illinois Avenue in Dallas, Texas.

Washington, D.C. – Congressman Marc Veasey, TX-33, introduced H.R. 6064, the Partnerships for the Future Act, to better train students in well-paying jobs in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) fields.

Congressman Veasey’s Partnerships for the Future Act would direct the Department of Labor to create a competitive grant pilot program to provide additional tools for educating and training our workforce to thrive in the 21^st century workforce.

Dallas, TX – On Monday, September 19, Congressman Marc Veasey, TX-33, will work the afternoon shift at the Oak Cliff K-TOWN Wheels-New & Used Tires shop. As part of his ‘Marc Means Business’ work day, Veasey will greet customers, help with tire repair services, and will even assist in K-TOWN’s signature hand car washing services.

Dallas, TX – On Friday, July 22, 2016, Congressman Marc Veasey, TX-33, will work the breakfast and lunch shifts at a local Dallas McDonald’s restaurant. As part of his ‘Marc Means Business’ work day, Veasey will greet customers, serve as a crew leader motivating employees, distribute prepared meals to drive-thru customers and learn more about the daily responsibilities of fast food workers and managers.

Dallas, TX –Today, Congressman Marc Veasey, TX-33, hosted a mobile town hall to talk and listen to the residents of the DFW Metroplex on what Congress can do to work on their behalf on a host of issues, including jobs and the economy, constituent services, and what legislation can help curb senseless acts of gun violence.
