FORT WORTH – Today, Congressman Marc Veasey (TX-33), member of the Energy and Commerce Committee, announced that Texas would receive over $3.3 billion through the Broadband, Equity, Access, and Deployment (BEAD) program from the National Telecommunications and Information Administration.
WASHINGTON - Congressman Veasey introduced the Cybersecurity Clinics Grant Program Act, which would create a Department of Homeland Security grant program to fund higher education-based cybersecurity at community colleges and colleges minority-serving institutions. In addition, the legislation would require the Department of Homeland Security to develop an experiential cybersecurity curriculum for grant recipients.
