Washington, DC – This month, U.S. Representatives Marc Veasey (TX-33), Derek Kilmer (WA-06), and Guy Reschenthaler (PA-14)announced that they have introduced bipartisan legislation to help ensure veterans have the tools and resources they need to access home loans and attain homeownership.

WASHINGTON – Today, Rep. Veasey voted to pass H.R. 7900, the National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA) for Fiscal Year 2023 (FY23), which will strengthen U.S. national security by supporting the development of new technologies, coordination with America's global network of allies and partners, our country's democratic values, and our service members and their families.

WASHINGTON, D.C. – Congressman Marc Veasey (TX-33) and his House Armed Services Committee (HASC) colleagues advanced out of committee H.R. 7900, the National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA) for Fiscal Year 2023. This package includes provisions supporting foreign relations, improving oversight of the Department of Defense, and bringing jobs to the DFW Metroplex, which Veasey authored and championed.

WASHINGTON, DC – Today, Reps. Veasey (TX-33) and Horsford (NV-04) of the House Armed Services Committee led six of their colleagues in a letter urging Secretary of Defense Lloyd Austin to address the issue of rising costs facing military families on bases across the country.

WASHINGTON, D.C. — Congressman Marc Veasey (TX-33) and the Congressional Black Caucus (CBC) have formally endorsed the Vanessa Guillén Military Justice Improvement and Increasing Prevention Act which would reform the military justice system by moving the decision to prosecute serious crimes in the military from the chain of command. Congressman Horsford is an original co-sponsor of the legislation.

WASHINGTON, D.C. – Congressmen Marc Veasey (TX-33) and Blake Moore (UT-01) introduced the National Medal of Honor Monument Act—bipartisan legislation to pave the way for the creation of a monument in our nation's capital recognizing the Medal of Honor and its fewer than 4,000 recipients.

WASHINGTON, D.C. - Last night, Congressman Veasey (TX-33) joined his colleagues to pass a bipartisan, bicameral agreement on a National Defense Authorization Act that honors our values, strengthens our security and advances America's leadership in the world. The legislation authorizes $732 billion in discretionary spending for our national defense for FY 2021 and passed the House by a bipartisan vote of 335 to 78.
