Washington, D.C. – In an effort to protect our nation's seniors, Congressman Marc Veasey, TX-33, introduced H.R. 6457, the Preventative Services Medicare Parity Act, that will update preventative services coverage for Medicare recipients. The bill would require Medicare to cover senior healthcare recommended by the U.S. Preventative Services Taskforce

On October 5th and October 7th, I will be hosting senior seminars in Dallas and Fort Worth to help TX-33 senior residents learn more about the different resources available to them. The events will help residents avoid common mail fraud scams, learn safety tips, how to apply for Medicare, how to ensure they receive their full Social Security benefits, and how to stay healthy and fit at any age.
