Filemon Vela of Brownsville and Vicente Gonzalez of McAllen announced Thursday they were boycotting President-elect Donald Trump's inauguration, taking the count of Texas congressmen who won't attend to five. WASHINGTON — After saying he would attend President-elect Donald Trump's inauguration, Brownsville Democratic Rep. Filemon Vela reversed course Thursday because he says dozens of migrant students from his district were harassed in Washington.
