Congressman Veasey's Statement Regarding Shooting in Minneapolis

Fort Worth, TX- Congressman Veasey, Co-chair of the Gun Violence Prevention Caucus, released the following statement regarding the shooting at Annunciation Catholic School in Minneapolis: 

"My heart breaks for those whose lives were stolen today at Annunciation Catholic School, in Minneapolis. Parents shouldn’t have to fear sending their kids to school. Children shouldn’t be traumatized just by walking into a classroom. My prayers are with the families, the city of Minneapolis, and the first responders on the scene.

Hug your children a little tighter tonight."
