FORT WORTH, TX – On Wednesday, November 6, Congressman Marc Veasey (TX-33) will kick off a day of healthcare-focused visits to Metroplex-area community health centers to hear from physicians, patients and volunteers on health issues impacting constituents.
To educate the community on the Affordable Care Act, HHS granted $9.9 million to Texas health centers to provide enrollment assistance. Congressman Veasey will be visiting the two community health centers in the 33rd Congressional District who received funding. Veasey's healthcare-focused listening tour will begin at a Fort Worth Health Center and conclude in Dallas with President Obama at Dallas' Temple Emanu-El.
