The Office of Congressman Marc Veasey Hosts Federal Grant Forum
ARLINGTON, TX – The Office of Congressman Marc Veasey, TX-33, will be hosting a free Grant Forum for faith-based and neighborhood organizations on Thursday, Nov. 14 at 10:00 AM, at the Maverick Activities Center in Arlington, TX.
"Texas' 33rd Congressional District has numerous faith-based, non-profit and civic organizations that work very hard to provide services to our community," said Congressman Marc Veasey. "With this workshop, we are hoping to provide these organizations with information regarding federal and private resources that meet their funding needs."
Congressman Veasey's district staff, joined by the Internal Revenue Service, Health and Human Services, the US Department of Agriculture, the US Department of Housing and Urban Development, and other local associations, will provide important information including federal grant opportunities, strategic planning, and the elements of a successful grant proposal. This event is free.
