Rep.Veasey Responds to the Union Pacific Railroad Car Derailment and Fire

Congressman Veasey released the following statement responding to the fire in southeast Fort Worth caused after several Union Pacific railroad cars derailed early Wednesday morning:

"Thank you to the First Responders who responded quickly to the fire and went door to-door to ensure residents evacuated safely from their homes," said Rep.Veasey. "As we await further information on what caused this horrific incident, we must come together as a city, commit to help the extensive cleanup ahead of us, and work to prevent this type of accident from happening again."
