Rep. Veasey's Statement on the Passing of Senator John McCain

"Senator John McCain was a true patriot, who loved his family and this country before all else. He faced many hard fought battles, but his grit, his belief in working together for the greater good, and his deep loyalty to those in uniform show the measure of his character. He inspired many, and persevered for this country. I'm proud the NDAA could honor his legacy, and I share with the entire McCain family my deepest condolences."
