Rep. Veasey Statement on U.S. Rep Kay Granger Stepping Down From House Appropriations Chair

Today, Congressman Marc Veasey released the following statement after U.S. Rep. Kay Granger announced she will be stepping down as Chairwoman of the House Appropriations Committee:

 “Congresswoman Kay Granger has used her decades of trailblazing public service to advocate for her constituents here in North Texas. She has used her position as the first female Republican Appropriations Chair to invest in communities and people here in North Texas and across our nation.
