Rep. Veasey’s Statement on passing of former Mayor of Ft. Worth

WASHINGTON, D.C. – Rep. Marc Veasey, TX-33, released the following statement on the passing of former Fort Worth Mayor Bob Bolen:

"I am terribly saddened by the loss of a great friend and leader, former Fort Worth Mayor Bob Bolen. I will always remember our conversations as being full of joy, laughter, and encouragement and he will be truly missed. His leadership and dedication to improving the Metroplex will forever serve as an example to all of us who strive to make a difference through public service. Mr. Bolen has truly left a mark on the city of Fort Worth and it was a privilege to know him as a friend. My condolences go out to his family. It is my hope that we continue to be inspired by his passion and his belief in a brighter future. "
