Rep. Veasey Invites 33rd Congressional District Residents to Pope Francis’ Address in Nation’s Capital

Rep. Veasey will distribute first-come first-serve tickets to CD33 residents for historic Papal address

Washington, D.C. – Today, Congressman Marc Veasey, TX-33, announced that his office is accepting first-come-first-serve requests from residents of the 33rd Congressional District for tickets to participate in the Pope's Sept. 24 address in Washington, D.C. The address will mark the first time a pope has ever visited the Capitol and addressed a joint session of Congress.

Congressman Veasey will distribute first-come-first-serve tickets to view the address via televised broadcast on the West Lawn of the U.S. Capitol to see His Holiness Pope Francis during his visit to Washington, D.C on Thursday, September 24.

Residents of CD33 are encouraged to contact either the Fort Worth Office at 817-920-9086 or the Dallas District Office at 214-741-1387 to be added to the list. The deadline to sign up is 5 p.m. CT on Tuesday, September 15. Those receiving the tickets will be contacted for further details by Thursday, September 17. Travel and accommodations will be at the ticketholders' expense.
