Washington, D.C.- Rep. Veasey (D-TX) is proud to announce his new appointment to the House Committee on Energy and Commerce for the 116th Congress. Congressman Veasey released the following statement on the new placement: 
“I’m honored to represent the people of North Texas on the House Committee on Energy and Commerce, the longest standing committee in the House of Representatives. Alongside Chairman Frank Pallone and my colleagues on this committee, I will continue to work to: protect the ACA for two million Texans and Americans nationwide, fight for Medicare for All, advance America’s leadership on clean energy and energy security, restore net neutrality, and ensure families have access to clean water and air for generations to come.”
