"I fully understand the societal pressures our youth face every day." said Congressman Veasey. "As a father, I recognize the importance of having an open conversation with your child on how to rise above the peer pressure and to be comfortable just saying no."

Last year, Congressman Veasey hosted an "Ask, Listen, Learn" underage drinking prevention event for middle school students in Grand Prairie. In addition, Congressman Veasey participated at the Century Council's annual "Take Our Daughter and Sons to Work Day" that helps bring parents and kids together to focus on the importance of how healthy lifestyles prevent underage drinking.
