Dallas, Texas— Earlier today, Congressman Marc Veasey, TX-33, rolled up his sleeves alongside Justin Murillo, employee for Dallas Parks and Recreation, cleaning up Oak Cliff parks after the Dallas area received a whopping seven inches of rain last night. As part of his ‘Marc Means Business' initiative, Veasey spent the day aiding in debris removal from Kiest Memorial Garden, performing graffiti sweeps at Kidd Springs Park, and taping off fallen trees for disposal at Lake Cliff Park.

"As a strong advocate for health and fitness, I greatly appreciate the hard work Dallas Parks and Recreation performs on a daily basis, regardless of weather conditions. Without them, our community's residents wouldn't have safe and clean public spaces for exercise and leisure," said Congressman Marc Veasey.
