Congressman Marc Veasey (TX-33) Releases Statement on USMCA Progress

WASHINGTON, D.C. – Congressman Marc Veasey released the following statement on Speaker Pelosi's announcement that House Democrats reached an agreement on USMCA with United States Trade Representative Ambassador Lighthizer:

"I am encouraged that an agreement on improving the United States Mexico Canada Agreement (USMCA) has been made by Speaker Pelosi and Ambassador Lighthizer. I will be reading the final deal carefully to ensure that it helps North Texas workers and contributes to the growth of our economy across our country. Most importantly, any final trade deal that we make must deliver on our Democratic majority's promise to work for the people by expanding opportunity for workers and their families."
