Dallas Immigration Activist To Join Congressman Veasey at President Biden’s State of the Union Address to Highlight Workforce Needs
WASHINGTON – Representative Veasey will be joined by Douglas Interiano, CEO of Proyecto Inmigrante Immigration Counseling Services in Dallas as his guest to President Biden's State of the Union Address to Congress on Tuesday, February 7th.
The State of the Union Address will highlight the achievements that House Democrats and President Biden have delivered over the past two years and the work that Democrats are doing to defend our American values from extreme MAGA Republicans.
"I am honored to welcome Douglas as my guest because he emphasizes the critical role immigrants play in our American economy," said Rep. Veasey. "As cities and towns across the country continue to grapple with the labor shortage, it's time for Congress to capitalize on economic migration and pass comprehensive immigration reform."
