Congressman Veasey Supports 50th Annual National Small Business Week

June 17, 2013

DALLAS/FORT WORTH, TX– As the Small Business Administration (SBA) celebrates its 50th National Small Business Week, Congressman Marc Veasey invites constituents of the 33rd District to participate in the June 18th SBA event in Arlington, TX to help promote their small business.

“During this 50th Small Business Week, we thank the small businesses which form the backbone of our communities—opening new storefronts, training workers, manufacturing and selling goods in our communities,” said Congressman Veasey. “We also renew our commitment to expanding economic opportunity so that everyone with an idea for a new enterprise or business venture has the ability and resources to translate their dream into reality. For this reason, I co-sponsored a bipartisan resolution to honor the achievements and entrepreneurial spirit of small businesses in the U.S.”

The SBA workshop will feature successful local and national entrepreneurs, to provide hands-on assistance and mentoring for small business owners. If you are unable to attend the workshop, you can tune into the SBA events via live stream at www.sba.gov/smallbusinessweek. Details for the SBA event are:
