Congressman Veasey Statement on One-Week Continuing Resolution

Washington, D.C. – Congressman Marc Veasey, TX-33, released the following statement after the House passed a one-week continuing resolution to keep the government open:

"Although I voted in favor of today's one-week continuing resolution, it is my hope that House Republicans take this time to put aside partisan games in order to pass a clean long-term spending bill. I stand ready to work with my House Republican colleagues to put the priorities of the American people first."
