Congressman Veasey Is Confident Comprehensive Immigration Reform Will Boost the Economy

WASHINGTON, D.C. – On the heels of the Congressional Budget Office (CBO) score of the Senate’s bipartisan immigration reform bill, Congressman Veasey is confident that the comprehensive immigration reform will boost the economy in the 33^rd Congressional District.

“The report by the CBO further indicates that by fixing our broken immigration system, we can grow the economy, strengthen the middle class, and create new opportunities in the 33^rd Congressional district and across the nation. We have the chance in the 113^th Congress to work across party lines and pass comprehensive immigration reform.” said Congressman Veasey.
