Congressman Veasey Host Veterans Townhall and Honors Veterans in the DFW Area
WASHINGTON – Congressman Marc Veasey (TX-33) hosted a Veterans’ Townhall and attended several Veterans’ appreciation events ahead of Veterans Day in the district. These events provide an opportunity for veterans, their families, and the community to discuss the challenges facing veterans, connect with vital resources, and honor their service to our nation.
“Texas is home to the largest number of veterans in the nation, and our district alone has over 15,000. Our freedoms today are the result of their sacrifices and service,” said Congressman Veasey. “The Veterans’ Townhall and appreciation events are just a small way we show our gratitude.”
In addition to honoring veterans, Congressman Veasey emphasized that his office is dedicated to ensuring veterans and their families are connected with the resources they need.
“We are here to help if veterans have questions or need assistance navigating services. We owe them our deepest thanks for their service to this country.”
As a member of the Armed Services Committee, Congressman Veasey continues to advocate for veterans by advancing legislation that addresses their needs.
“It is an honor to represent our veterans in the metroplex, and I will continue to fight for their rights and well-being in Congress. Thank you to all the veterans in our community and across the nation.”
