Congressman Veasey Announces July Small Business Events in the 33rd District

FORT WORTH, TX – Congressman Veasey will host a FREE small business forum at the Grand Prairie Chamber of Commerce on July 26, from 8:30am-12:00pm. The event is designed to assist small businesses in the 33rd Congressional District to compete more effectively to secure federal contracts.

The SBA workshop on July 26th will feature information sessions, networking opportunities, and hands-on assistance for small business owners. With the support of the Small Business Administration (SBA), the event will include procurement officers from the Army Corps of Engineers, the General Services Administration (GSA), and the U.S. Department of Labor, as well as federally certified small business leaders who will share their experiences.

Leading up to this event, the SBA will be working to educate constituents on how to become certified for set-aside and sole source contracts with federal agencies. In July, the following SBA workshops will be held in Dallas and Fort Worth:

JULY

July 1 – 10:00-12:00pm at the Bill J. Priest Institute, 1402 Corinth St., Dallas
July 3 – 10:00-12:00pm at the SBA Dallas/Fort Worth District Office, 4300 Amon Carter Blvd., Ste. 114, Fort Worth

The FREE small business forum hosted by Congressman Veasey will be held on July 26th at 8:30-12:00pm at the Grand Prairie Chamber of Commerce located at 900 Conover Dr. Grand Prairie, TX 75051.
