Congressman Marc Veasey, TX-33, Statement on Memorial Day

Washington D.C. – Congressman Marc Veasey, TX-33, Member of the House Armed Services Committee, released the following statement in honor of Memorial Day:

"Today, in honor of Memorial Day, we should all take time to reflect on the service and sacrifice of our nation's brave military men and women and those who fallen during that service.

As a member of the House Armed Services Committee, I know that we can never fully repay our debt of gratitude to those who have served but we should never stop striving keep our solemn promises to our veterans. Now more than ever I encourage everyone to shake the hand of a veteran and thank them for their service."
