WASHINGTON – Several notable Texans were scattered among the political elite Tuesday at President Barack Obama’s final State of the Union address.

Rep. Marc Veasey, D-Fort Worth, brought Gloria Fuentes, owner of the Dallas-based restaurant franchise Gloria’s. Fuentes is a good example of why small business owners should be supported by legislation he’s backed to make it easier to obtain loans, Veasey said.
