Rep. Veasey & Rep. Castro to Host "The Dream is Now" Screening in Fort Worth

DALLAS/FORT WORTH, TX– As the debate on immigration reform intensifies, Congressman Marc Veasey and Congressman Joaquin Castro invite constituents of the 33rd Congressional District to a screening of “The Dream Is Now” to hear firsthand accounts of DREAMers and families torn apart as they wait for passage of comprehensive immigration reform. This event is free.

WHAT: “The Dream Is Now” Screening. The 30-minute documentary by Academy Award-winning director, Davis Guggenheim (Waiting for 'Superman', An Inconvenient Truth), gives immigration reform a human face by highlighting the people affected by the legislation.
